Growing Season 2019
2019 began with ample rainfall resulting in late soil moisture. The summer was long and warm, while foggy mornings created the ideal conditions for vibrant, expressive wines. Harvest stretched into October thanks to very moderate temperatures in August and September. Wines are ripe and lush yet well-defined; a worthy follow-up to the benchmark 2018 vintage.
The grapes are pressed using 100% whole cluster fermentation and aged 15 months this provides the wine a great structure and freshness throughout the palate.
Tasting Notes
The wine exhibits highly expressive notes of allspice, white pepper, and
ripe red fruits, with a medium body mouthfeel it expresses a rich red
intensity on the palate.
